Composition: 85% Semillon, 15% Sauvignon Blanc

Fermentation: 100% stainless steel.

Oak Aging: 4 months in French oak, 20% new, 80% 1 to 2 years old Aillier from Treuil

Organic: All fruit is organically grown in our estate vineyard.

The grapes for the 2005 Volker Eisele Family Estate Gemini were co-fermented. The wine was barrel aged in 20% new French oak to provide aromas of vanilla and cloves. The wine is soft with rich flavors of melons, figs, and peaches. Semillon is a white wine that improves with bottle aging. Drink Gemini tomorrow or five years from now.

Harvest: The grapes were harvested from our vineyard on September 6 with 22.8 degrees average brix with 0.60 acidity and 3.26 pH.

The 2004 Volker Eisele Family Estate Gemini is a blend of 58% Semillon and 42% Sauvignon blanc. The wine was barrel aged with 20% new French oak to provide the spicy aromas of vanilla and cinnamon. The wine shows slightly herbaceous fruit aromas of melons and green figs, complimented by a crisp acid finish.

Fermentation: Fermentation was done in stainless steel tanks.

Oak Aging: 4 months in 20% new French Oak; Ailler from Treuil.

Production: 325 cases

Organic: All fruit is organically grown in our estate vineyard.

A light touch of oak enhances the slightly herbaceous aromas of melons and green figs. The wine is palate cleansing with moderate alcohol and a crisp acid finish.

Fermentation: Fermentation was done in stainless steel tanks.

Oak Aging: 4 months in new French Oak; Allier from Treuil.

Production: 280 cases

Organic: All fruit is organically grown in our estate vineyard.

This pale yellow wine has a light green tint of youth. Aromas of melons and pineapples are supported by a hint of vanilla. This medium-bodied dry wine has a clean and flinty finish.
