The 2007 Gemini is a blend of 70% Semillon and 30% Sauvignon blanc. The grapes were harvested in September and co-fermented. The wine was barrel aged sur-lie using 25% new French oak (Treuil/Ailler forest).The wine flavors are ripe and intriguing with melons and figs predominating. The wine is complex yet moderate in alcohol. Gemini is a white wine that ages well and will give many years of drinking pleasure. Savor now or cellar for several years.
